Matt - Professional Driving Instructor (South Liverpool)

Matt has been a fantastic instructor during my time learning how to drive. I was initially really nervous but Matt’s calm and patient nature meant that I settled into driving and now I feel really confident and a competent driver.

Matt is a fantastic driving instructor and is very patient and insightful.

I’ve been having lessons with Matt for a couple years on and off and loved having him as an instructor. He’s great with flexibility and will try his best to work around your schedule and I’ve had no issues with going to uni and coming back during holidays to continue lessons. He explain things in a lot of detail and makes sure the important things are drilled into your head, which is what helped me to past my test first try! Would highly recommend him, especially if you’re a talkative person as hes good fun. .

Ahead of my test in at Liverpool Speke, Matt familiarised me with all the challenges in the area (varying speeds, tough junctions etc), making this tricky test route significantly easier. Matt was informative, calm and friendly. Thanks to his teaching, I passed first time! Would definitely recommend him for driving lessons!

I thoroughly recommend Matt as a driving instructor! I was really anxious when I started, but Matt was kind, patient and really bolstered my confidence. He used a lot of diagrams, which helped me as I have ADHD and sometimes struggle to process verbal directions, and followed a robust curriculum that has left me feeling confident to tackle any situation I might come across driving. After any mistakes I made, he'd take the time to explain what happened and how to correct and we'd keep going over things until it clicked. He focused heavily on safety and "real world" defensive driving, as opposed to how to simply pass the test. It's also important to mention that as a woman, I always felt safe and at ease with Matt. We had some great chats whilst driving and I always looked forward to my lesson! I passed with 2 minors and am so grateful to have had Matt as my instructor! Highly recommend!
